Boat Parking & Sailing Area​
The Club is located next to a public beach designated for storage and launching purposes.
This setup ensures that the Club's space stays accessible for members and guests who want to view the races from the Clubhouse. Trailers and containers will be positioned as close as possible to reduce walking distances.

Launching will be from the Davis Islands Beach & Seaplane Basin which is located next to the main gate for the yacht club.
​
Davis Islands Beach is a 200-foot-long sandy shoreline, providing a convenient launch area for small boats like A-Cats. The Seaplane Basin, just south of the beach, has a muddy bottom with some sandy patches, offering a protected area for launching and landing.
In November, winds are typically northeasterly, averaging 8-15 knots, creating favorable sailing conditions. The basin remains relatively calm due to its sheltered location, while the open bay offers steady breeze for sailing.
